Update: 4:28 p.m. The manager of NAPA Auto Parts in Sterling said two rocks from a blasting incident at Loudoun Quarries this morning damaged the store's window and a car in the parking lot, among other damages caused by the blast.

Falling rocks and debris from a Loudoun County quarry blast damaged nearby homes and cars and sent one person to the hospital Thursday morning. The debris came from a scheduled quarry blast, Loudoun County Fire and Rescue said.

A teenager with autism who was reported missing today has been located safe and sound, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The 14-year-old was last seen at around noon in the area of Potomac Falls High School along Algonkian Parkway in Sterling.
